2D Final work----work in progress......

This blog I'd like to talk about my 2D Fundamental final work..

Over the past weeks, I have been learned some elements and principle of design, and in the brief, it said that we should use the elements and principles to finished the final work----FANTASY...

First things first, I just Google "fantasy" image and find the inspiration, then i decided to do a brainstorming and write down all the stuffs...

From this picture you can see that this is my mind map, our final 2D work should have a group of audience so I also considered about it...

At last, I think children and teenagers is okay and I can draw something about education and positive  stuffs, and then, after this, I back to the fantasy and search some reference from google...

this is my first idea that you can see there is a charming beauty in a lecture's head and all the stuff he saw is connected to money even the leaves...but later i think it's not good enough, not suit for all the children and teenagers, so this way is not quite good, and decided to change one...

so I back to focus on the education, and the subject of education i chosen is art...and here is all the reference...

here are some small drafts, and it does have some change...the first one I think the area of clock is too empty and the overall is not balanced...obey the principles

the second one i think that's too balanced and there is nothing about movement, so I change to the third one and I think it might be the best composition of this final work..

here is the bigger draft...just some rough things....not draw the details...

This one is more specific and clearer than before, and i tried use some colour pencil to colour it

And this is the work... still in progress and add more decorate lines and dots....

I think I will finished it before next Monday...

 

S-Watch design

This week we had a individual work to draw a watch for one of our friend in our class...and the shape it's the swatch...so i decided to design a pattern for my best friend Shiyue...
As i know, She loves the CNBLUE so I decided to paint the background blue...

and add some little pink, purple and yellow flowers 

and i decided draw the group name "cnblue" on the top of the watch and when u wanna see the time u just need to press the small button beside.

in order to make it looks more 3d, I decided to draw the shadow with grey and black colour pencil. And I will post some work our classmate do below...

this one looks abstract, it contains many elements and i think this is great!~

You can see that this one has more details, and there are also some different elements in the top of the watch.

This one i can see that there is a rose in the centre, and it looks really abstract but i like it!

this one looks more simple.and the left part of design is interesting...

the red one, a girl is dancing in the watch, that's so nice!~

this is the most simple one I think... but it contains so much information and looks more technological!~ 

Abstract Acrylic Painting

Last week i found an video on the youtube and it's a tutorial video that teach you how to draw a abstract painting. The video is really inspired me and I decided to buy some materials and do some paintings.

here is the painter's painting,but it is too long. so I do some changes.

the painter used 4 piece of pairing frame, but i decided just use one so that it won't take too much time. And I used black and white to finished the background, the acrylic is so smoothy so it's easy to paint.

And i just like the painter to do something chaos....I am too focus on the painting that i forgot to take the photo of the progress...

This is some textures which i have learned from 2D Fundamental and Drawing Fundamental..

Drawing things like this really makes me relax and never mind to make some wrong, maybe the wrong things make it looks more beauty. I think this is the charm of the arts!

After it dried, I hang it on the wall, that is so nice, I LOVE IT!

change the package

As i said last week, there are too much silly package you can find in the supermarket. And this week we decided to change it, makes it not silly anymore...
Here is the original package that we have chosen, it's a penguin that take a piece of chip flying in the sky.

we are still decided to use the close colour in order to makes it looks similar, and we find a cute penguin so that it can more attracts the costumes eyes...

this is what we draw and we decided to make a zip in the middle of the penguin and  it looks more fun.

After we finished drawing, we add the top and the bottom and makes it like a long can...and u just need to open the zip and you can get the chips. You will never worried about you have a short arms or a big hands anymore.

This is a nuts box,  but I still don't know what kind of nuts inside...but the package is really interesting, it is folded by a large size of paper, and after you eat all the nuts in it, you can easily unfold the box and make for a other use.

It is a big question that how can you open this case! it really test your IQ, but you can get something fun in it. And the package is telling you what is inside...

Nowadays, the illustration on the package can lie to you, what it looks on package sometimes is quite different...so in oder not make costumes confused and disappointed, it is better to make the package transparence, even is just a small area on the package, it's enough!~

This is the candy package, at it original package, there was only one picture(you can see on the left) and it's hard to find what is this mean, but after change the package like this way, you may understand  how the candy works......

changing the package is really makes a lot of fun...

week 10 Crazy Package Really Makes Me Confused

Wow that is really a nice week, especially monday, because we have creative thinking that day and you may noticed that I am  really enjoy it...

nowadays, most of the items in the supermarket have the package to tell people what inside and protect them, and people today focus on the package design more and more, however, the problem is that is that every package design can express the item exactly? And not makes people confused? 

Let's see some example that i have found in supermarket and shoppingmall...

This is the candy package. Do you think you can feel that the candy is tasty at your first sight! Seems really like a suck candy ....For some reasons I haven't open it till now!

This is the dog food tin, but when i see the words "MADE FROM REAL MEAT" It really makes me confused!!! Is that a dog food tin or a dog meat tin like the tuna fish tin........

that's really a terrible words......

seems like the snake inside is really disgusting and even the package want to spit all it out

the brand name "post"is really silly, we post Instagrame, Facebook, Blog or something else everyday,but i have never post BLUEBERRY EVERY MORNING....i think they may consider to change the name after reading my blog hahah!

It's ok for skippy on a bottle in Asian, but in America, you'd better not use this word....it means the Japanese bitch(really sorry for the dirty words here) I am not sure who will buy it in America......

White coffee? where is "white" not the coffee beans or the drinks in the cup....where is white?(same as black tea, it looks red, not black!!!)

This is the most silly brand i have ever saw!~~who will wear a dick T-shirt, opps not dick, it's dickies OMG can not image more.......so..so....terrible//......

if i cut the bottle, will you recognise what exactly it is? sees like a foot of octapus 

.....after I see this, I HAVE NEVER BUT ANOTHER COCK FROM THAT DAY!

it's just a cup noodle, seems like it can serves for 6 football athlete!~ how it could be, it just a little cup not a big bucket!!!

okay, well, this is the examples that what i have found...something is really confusing me, and you may got something interesting  too, so pleased share to me if you have!
